My car died. The timing chain failed at 100,000 miles. I had just paid it off. I couldn’t afford to have it repaired at the shop, so I decided to replace the engine myself. First, I had to track down the official service manual, then a rebuilt engine, and had to find the time to do it when I wasn’t working or spending time with my family. I finished working on the car. It’s running now, but first I wasn’t sure if I could do it. But now I know that if you could change your own oil, you can learn to replace your engine. I made a course out of it. It’s 30 lessons, about an hour of instruction each.
